Many thanks to everyone who worked so hard not only to make sure that the renewal was successful, but also to ensure smooth and successful operation since we opened in 2001. This includes CVCS teachers, staff, students, parents, our community, and Governing Council members, as well as Socorro Consolidated Schools.

Our school received more than $2000 last year, which was spent on library books, field trips, etc. Thank you for shopping at Smith's!

Cottonwood Valley Charter School has created a National Wildlife Federation Schoolyard Habitat site. In our garden we've stressed the importance of using native and drought-tolerant plants in this arid region. Not only does the garden provide a valuable learning opportunity, but we will be doing our local wildlife a favor too.

Many thanks to: Bosque Del Apache,USDA NRCS Plants Materials, and Socorro Soil and Water Conservation.
