Cottonwood Valley Charter School has created a National Wildlife
Federation Schoolyard Habitat site. In our garden we’ve stressed
the importance of using native and drought-tolerant plants in
this arid region. Not only does the garden provide a valuable
learning opportunity, but we will be doing our local wildlife
a favor too.
Many thanks to: Bosque Del Apache,USDA NRCS Plants Materials,
and Socorro Soil and Water Conservation.
