Enrollment at CVCS is required by law to use a lottery process. If you are not familiar with this procedure, please read the Enrollment Policy carefully before completing the Intent to Enroll Form (see below). Children who are current students at Cottonwood Valley and who have remained in attendance need not participate in any further lotteries; however, their parents must return the "Intent to Re-enroll" form, distributed to all students each spring, by the deadline given in order to ensure they are enrolled in CVCS for the following academic year.

Any student that has withdrawn must go through the lottery process again. This is required by the NM Public Education Department. Once a child has withdrawn, that child loses his/her spot and will be treated like any other prospective student. Siblings of students currently enrolled have first priority in the lottery. To participate, families must fill out an Intent to Enroll form which can be obtained online, by calling (575)838-2026, or by e-mailing a request to the CVCS Office. The form can be delivered to the school in person or mailed to: Lottery, Cottonwood Valley Charter School, P.O. Box 1829, Socorro, NM, 87801. No telephone registrations will be accepted.
