Public Meeting to Approve 2002-2003 Budget

April 17, 2002

Meeting called to order at 7:35 pm.

II. Ascertain quorum 5 minutes Mary

Present— Jeanne Gacanich, Frances Deters, Dolores Griego, Mary Dwyer, Barbara Oates

III. Presentation of 2002-2003 Budget 60 minutes Mary C.

Mary handed out copies of the proposed budget. The balance of the proposed budget is $666,241, which is 98% of $679,838. This is based on 126 students FTE. Mary had to cut back on some line items such as therapy, Dolores’ salary, other contract services, and general supplies and materials. Rents and leases line item increased due to the addition of another building. Mary Dwyer requested the building to be ordered now for a July 1, 2002 arrival.

A motion was requested to pass the budget and Jeanne proposed to accept the budget with the three revisions—line 1611 to $3,000, line 1612 to $4,000, and 1112 to 1.0 FTE—dependant on the state’s approval of the budget on April 18, 2002 and any changes they may make.
