Nancy Karrier spokesperson describes core
knowledge curriculum as very productive as well as skill based quality
litature. Each teacher can identify which child does better in and is able to
accommodate each need.
Darlene
asks: What exactly is core knowledge?
Nancy
replies: There are different levels and each teacher can identify each child’s
need and it’s not your basic history, the history is detailed.
Lana
asks: Does curriculum come with textbooks?
Nancy
Replies: No next year.
Lana:
Do you need different teachers to teach each subject?
Nancy:
A book is available for reference, lesson plans.
Lana:
Children that have not had the core knowledge , will they be missing out?
Nancy:
It would just add to there learning also let parents know, so they can discuss
with their children.
Ted:
How will the company use this as statistics?
Nancy:
I will get a copy of state statistics and send in our tests results and they
can be scored.
Frances
adds: There is a condensed core knowledge training on 8/31/01 from 9-4pm at the
public library.
